I for one am getting pretty excited about this time of year. The new collections are coming and we are fast approaching the cooler days so we can pull out the leather, wool blazers and gear up to start layering – yay!

Kicking off Melbourne’s fashion packed month ahead Myer presented their AW13 collections at the beautiful Mural Hall. I was lucky enough to be apart of the night and being dressed by the amazing team at Myer. When I arrived to view the pieces I was immediately drawn to this bronzed goddess (who me? no I meant the jacket) and started the build of the rest of the outfit around this beauty. The bronzed sequins soften the look and is a beautiful contrast with the charcoal detailing throughout the piece.I am not surprised that I loved this and the rest of the collection as the Manning Cartell girls have been getting it so right in the last few collections.

I couldn’t disappoint myself and not go for a basic in some of this outfit but it was well called for with a jacket like this. Wayne Copper has some great wool blend black basics and this skirt was a winner.
