This is so French of me. I will wear it with a pair of leather/leather esq pants and a blazer. I am out and about tomorrow shooting a few new looks and will include these too. The back of this top has buttons all the way down and is an oversized shape. Made famous by the smokin hot Elle from They All Hate Us blog in the long sleeve version.
I did let you know that I was into a red heel and here they are. Loving the silver heel and double love, they are on sale! winning! If they are sold out I found these at RMK too.

I know it had taken a while to get these jeans off instagram (@ejmaxwell) and onto the blog-sorry. I re worked them a bit and opened up the rips but you can leave them as is if you wanted too. With winter well and truly here this fluffy piece of goodness is going to be on my go to. Loving this super cute label with this and my leather look crop in my wardrobe….what will be next?!

Sometimes we have to let our inner girly girl out. This skirt is such a cute piece that when teamed back with a chunky knit and a black bootie has the perfect touch of girly without going over the top. This roll neck knit is amazing. By Skin and threads it’s merino wool and surprisingly the only black knit of its kind in my cupboard. Great place to start!
In other news I have a table full of things to shoot and show you but there seems to not be enough hours in my day! I am getting there and will have them coming through insta before they hit here for peeks or it will be a mass overload and probably max your credit cards out!

BRACELETS tara wolf – zodiac and chakra
Sometimes all you need to brighten your day and change your mood completly are some kind words and reminders of how powerful positive thoughts can be. This beautiful range of bracelets keep your mind in that space and provide a different mantra for each day. I am a Gemini and have to honest I am not very educated in the stars and the meanings but I always thought a Gemini to be – split minded so not the best at decisions (guilty) and can be in two minds (sign of the twin), Loyal, have a perfect match in another Gemini (tick) who balance each other out. I must take more time in learning about the astral signs which I just might while I wear my new bracelet to remind me to do so.

I for one am getting pretty excited about this time of year. The new collections are coming and we are fast approaching the cooler days so we can pull out the leather, wool blazers and gear up to start layering – yay!
Kicking off Melbourne’s fashion packed month ahead Myer presented their AW13 collections at the beautiful Mural Hall. I was lucky enough to be apart of the night and being dressed by the amazing team at Myer. When I arrived to view the pieces I was immediately drawn to this bronzed goddess (who me? no I meant the jacket) and started the build of the rest of the outfit around this beauty. The bronzed sequins soften the look and is a beautiful contrast with the charcoal detailing throughout the piece.I am not surprised that I loved this and the rest of the collection as the Manning Cartell girls have been getting it so right in the last few collections.
I couldn’t disappoint myself and not go for a basic in some of this outfit but it was well called for with a jacket like this. Wayne Copper has some great wool blend black basics and this skirt was a winner.
Thank you to the Myer team and the superstar girls from Kate & Co PR for having us and for my amazing ensemble. All of the winter collections are available at Myer Bourke street now and no it’s not too soon to get the winter kit ready .

HEELS the mode collective
It has cooled down a bit in Melbourne today which is ok when I have a wardrobe full of winter goodies. I have a thing for shoes and in particular heels as I think they can make or break the look. These high heels by The mode collective are going to be a staple with my jeans and leathers for the season to come. The ankle strap makes them on the more girly side and is a great contrast when wearing my bomber jackets, vests and leather track pants. The suede is amazing and color is just the neutral that I needed.
I am off to the MYER A/W show tonight and was lucky enough to be dressed for the event by the team. Will show you what I wore and keep you updated through the night on instagram and twitter. Cant wait.
