With winter months a coming I find myself going to the dark side in my clothes but also my nails. Love a black mani but a deep wine is even better. I am officially obsessed with fine jewellery and this new brand Deer Ruby. Wait until you see what is on the way, I am so excited.

I have a few books on my desk that I am dying to read and this is added to the pile. Must make a pact to have a no computer and instagram at night and read a book instead….keep you posted on this one. As you read this its 10pm and I am very much not getting off the computer after a big day the babies are asleep and I am working to prepare for the week ahead.

I have started to organise my wardrobe (and my life with that) and be more decisive about what I am buying. I have a habit of shopping and not really thinking about what I already own and the important cost per wear. Mix great bargain buys with the investment pieces and have a few statement separates for the occasions.

This skirt is one of the statement/investment pieces that I can use to rotate. The color got me straight away and it allows me to pair up a beautiful white shirt and keep the look simple if i need too.

At the end of the day own and wear what you love and what inspires you. What catches your eye? Are you drawn to particular people and stye icons and see a recurring trend in your ‘likes’? Go with it. Embrace what you love and own it.

BUSTIER manning cartell at Myer

I wore this amazing bustier to a beautiful lunch at Myer in the iconic Mural hall to celebrate mothers day. Not like this but I wanted to show you a different look from the day and the instagram pics. Love me a tee and love me some grey. Layer it up with leather pants and a blazer or a skirt to dress it up. Love this piece.

This is the trend that everyone calls ‘sport luxe’. The sport part is the mesh, the raglan baseball flavour and a leather cap completes this look. The luxe part the heels I guess and the gal in the clothes as she is not participating in any sport what so ever, at least in this kit. I love it as it works with my love for casual and street/off duty. I am working on some things now to step up this obsession with the casual feel and bringing it a little more when its time to dress up.
